I am near to Jath Taluka place. I am from Jawala,Tal-Sangola,Dist-Solapur.This village 32km far from my village. Jath is famous for Yalamma Yatra which held in December month. After this yatra , yatra of kharsundi birob, yatra of Masoba (Jawala Yatra) will held. I am really amazing to see informative website as such.

I got valuable information about Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkars visit to Jath in 1938 on the invitation of Raje vijaysinh . My great grandfather Mohammad has served the king as a head constable and later became the advisor to the ruler. Excuse my ignorance for not knowing the name of the ruler. Mr grand father's name was Mohammed Usman and he was also given the "KHaN" title by the ruler.

I really appriciate the people who made this site.This is only way to take our palce global.I am from this taluks and i am always proud of my palce.While watching the site i feel like i am in hometown.I want to give small suggestion that There is one village called Banali to north of Jath.The famous godess shri Banashankari temple is situated thre.This village entire village is vegeterian and nobody eat meat,egss etc.Please let whole world be aware of this fact and include photos of temple.

It is nice and brief info ..Jath is good town .. peaceful but still it is not developed yet compare to other city , still it is dusskalgrasth village... bcoz all useless politicians .. some time i feel very sad about jath. I pray to almighty Jath became Oasis.
